Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of CookinBuddy, created by Błażej Kustra (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”), available as a freemium service on iOS and Android. By downloading or using the app, these terms automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the app.

Intellectual Property

The app and all associated content, trademarks, and intellectual property are the property of the Service Provider. You are not permitted to copy, modify, or extract the source code of the app. You may not attempt to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. All trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights related to the app remain the property of the Service Provider.

Service Modifications

The Service Provider reserves the right to make changes to the app or to charge for its services at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it clear exactly what you are paying for. Any changes to pricing or service structure will be communicated with reasonable notice.

Data and Security

You are responsible for keeping your device and access to the app secure. We recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your device, as it may compromise your device's security features and the app may not function correctly.

Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services that have their own Terms of Service. Below are links to the terms of the third-party service providers used by the app:

Internet Connection

Certain functions of the app require an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi or provided by your mobile network provider. We cannot be held responsible if the app does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance. If you are using the app outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's terms still apply, and you may be charged by your provider for data usage during the connection.

Limitations of Liability

The Service Provider cannot take responsibility for certain things. Some functions of the app require an active internet connection, and we cannot guarantee that it will work at all times. We are not responsible for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying wholly on the functionality of the app. We are not responsible for keeping your device charged — if your device runs out of battery and you cannot access the Service, we cannot accept responsibility.

Updates and Termination

We may update the app from time to time. The app is currently available on iOS and Android — the requirements for both systems may change, and you will need to accept updates to continue using the app. We may also wish to stop providing the app and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end, and you must stop using the app and delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the effective date. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
